-Cooking a turkey is probably the easiest part of Thanksgiving dinner.....we fried one this year and it came out great! Of course, safety is an issue, but just keep watching it and you will be fine.
-Black Friday needs to stop!! How much news coverage do we need to see of people running one another over to get a $15 DVD player....it's a sad commentary on our society. Stay home and spend some time with your family!
-on the subject of family.....it's intriguing how people react to the loss of a loved one. I recently witnessed a family use (through the posting of the obituary) the death of the matriarch to further an agenda of petty rivalry and bitterness. Excluding a sister,a brother, and their respective families because of a disagreement is hardly any way to "celebrate" the life of someone special.....memories last forever.
